Improving physical and mental wellbeing

Mindfulness

Why meditate?

We all want to be Happy.

But often the relentless pace and challenges of life make it impossible to know where to look for happiness. Through the wisdom of meditation, however, we can find peace and contentment. To our amazement, we discover a profound stillness that is always with us, beneath the turbulence of all our thoughts and emotions.

Mindfulness & Meditation

Dr. Jonathan Segal, a retired local GP, who has been practicing meditation personally for over 20 years and as an instructor, in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, is the guide for these sessions.

I would like these sessions to offer a real experience of meditation. Together it can be so very relaxing, offer tools to help us all live day to day with the stresses and challenges we face, and be a way to establish our own regular meditation practice at home. Maybe surprisingly, it can be enjoyable too, relaxing and sharing with others an approach to understanding our own minds.
